Mr. Markowitz is an experienced business lawyer and an active investor in several entrepreneurial ventures, including an award-winning social enterprise that finances clean energy projects. He serves as a financial communications advisor at one of Canada’s largest public relations firms, where he provides strategic counsel to clients in a broad range of sectors, helping them deliver the right message to the right people at the right time. Mr. Markowitz has been a frequent guest speaker at conferences, both domestically and internationally, on topics ranging from law to clean energy to personal branding. He has also taught business law at the university level. Involved in the community, he volunteers as a mentor to up-and-coming entrepreneurs. Mr. Markowitz holds bachelor’s degrees in Civil Law, Common Law and Commerce from McGill University.
