Dr. Steven D. Meed is an internist and rheumatologist. Dr. Meed, earned his medical degree from New York University, did his residency in Internal Medicine at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis and his fellowship in Rheumatology at NYU. Now retired, he had been Assistant Professor of Medicine at the New York University (NYU) School of Medicine and had maintained a private practice in New York City, combining Rheumatology with Integrative Medicine and acupuncture. He has lectured extensively in the fields of Rheumatology and the treatment of Fatigue Syndromes and Fibromyalgia.
